The Top 10 Books of All Time

The Top 10 Books That I Have Read

The 10 Books I Have Read

  1. Charlotte’s Web – radiant!
  2. Dexter – Just finished that bad boy
  3. Cryptonomicon – I thought it was awesome, but I didn’t technically finish it…ever.
  4. That one I bought at the airport before I got on the plane – I had something to do with Napoleon in Egypt. So if that is the kind of thing that floats your boat, sail away to this marvelous piece of literature.
  5. Diamond Age – Longest book I have ever read…or technically listened to on my IPod.
  6. Dexter 2 – Can’t remember the name of the sequel to Dexter, but I think I am going to buy it later today
  7. Lunar Park – All the fun of reading American Psycho without the guilt trip from you mom!

8.-10. I am pretty sure there are a few scattered in there that I forgot about, but I highly recommend them.

Please keep in mind, that if you want to know how these books end, you will need to read them for yourself!

I can't stand/sit/lie idly about and read/hear you demean the act of reading and its importance in your life. I happen to know you read other books that influenced you, such as Cars and Trucks and Things That Go, a few by Kurt Vonnegut and a number of "Choose Your Own Adventure" books (though admittedly you may have taken the quickest exit out of), to name a few, as well as War and Peace, Vanity Fair, Dombey & Sons, etc. on the side. Some critic suppoedly said that there is only one plot, and it's in every novel: Stranger comes to town. So, if you've read one you've read them all, right? Or is it that if you've read one, you should read all the rest in order to verify. Wouldn't the latter approach be most consistent with the purposes of scientific inquiry.
